<p>The Automotive Sector of Mahindra &#038; Mahindra Ltd has been amongst the world leaders who are successfully manufacturing and marketing high performance vehicles including the light commercial vehicles, three-wheelers and utility vehicles. With it s recent joint ventures and collaborations the company has ambitious plans of dictating into the market of passenger car and commercial vehicles (heavy &#038; medium vehicles).</p>

<p>They have been prominent contributors, the production of about half of the Indian utility vehicles are from the Mahindra s Automotive Sector. They have not only managed to take over the Indian car market due to their consideration of Indian roads while incorporating designs for their cars but they were the first to debut the line of Indian cars in the US. Initially they started with CKD jeeps in 1949, and over the last 60 years they have taken care of the rural customer, the semi urban consumer; it has also catered to the defense requirements and luxurious utility vehicles for the urban population of the country. Mahindra &#038; Mahindra Ltd have made Indian proud by selling in 25 countries across 6 continents.
